About Sphynx
How the Sphynx Are. The character of a Sphynx differs from the one of all other cats. The Sphynx always look for the company of humans, they love to attract everyone’s attention to make people admire them and give compliments. They love to expose the sweety softy tummy and the silky back for caressing and tickling. When you fully dedicate yourself to this important service to a Sphynx, you can hear very special sounds that are different from those that any other felines make. It is not a common purring, it is more of a rumble and a rattle mixed together, very intensive, loud and insisting, full of pleasure and demanding to go on. The Sphynx are quick-minded cats, Mother-Nature gave them intelligence and even a sense of humor. Always eager to contact with living beings around, they never bite or intentionally scratch people. Your Sphynx will be waiting for you all day long, meeting you full of happiness and joy, expressing all these feelings very loudly, jumping around you and on you trying to hug you or reach your nose to give a welcome kiss. These cats are highly communicative, so when you have visitors, your Sphynx will never stay away from the reception. The Sphynx will join the company and make a small show demonstrating all the beauty and smartness – your guests will adore these little funny tricks of such an exceptional and charming creature. The Sphynx are very curious about people, so they easily make friends even with the persons who they never met before and come to their arms to receive their traditional portion of love and admiration. Many people who had the first contact with a Sphynx in person say that their attitude to this breed has become much more positive. You could compare a Sphynx to a small dog. This cat is easy to be trained. If you throw a ball or a toy of a suitable size, your Sphynx will be looking for it, finding and bringing it to you. These cats easily get used to washing, claws cutting (we never admit even an idea of declawing!) and cleaning the ears. A Sphynx will be a nice companion for a trip to the country. This cat will completely enjoy the outdoors fun, hunting for butterflies and climbing up the trees. A Sphynx loves to watch TV together with the family, pricking up the ears and catching every sound. And also never misses a chance to give a hand dealing with your computer, helping to type with such longish and elegant fingers. A Sphynx always enjoys sharing your bed with you, uses your blanket and occupies your pillow. And in some time you surprisingly understand that the pillow does not belong to you anymore because it is completely conquered by the one who is absolutely sure about his or her untrammeled rights on all the facilities around the house. The Sphynx fanciers say: “There is never too much of a Sphynx”. It means that if a person “shelters” one “nakie pookie” in his or her home, very soon this person feels longing for getting more and more of the sweet “nakie pookies”, so that it turns out to be a real invasion upon the house! Then you should be careful and not forget to keep a place under the roof for yourself too! When a Sphynx falls asleep, you cannot make yourself pass by and always stop to kiss the warmy tummy or the darling funny face. These cats are really so touching and nice, so unexpectedly tender and loving, fantastically smart and esthetically beautiful that you start to think of them like of your own kids, not less… And you take care of them like of real babies. A Sphynx has a magic appearance. The body is neither too big nor too slender but it has very harmonious and supple lines. The texture of the skin makes you remember a delicate peach, and your fingers never stop to run through the lots of pleats and play with them. The ears are big and extremely expressive. The big and beautiful lemon-shaped eyes look directly to your soul and possess you. And one more thing: a Sphynx smells so tasty… like a kissie poopsie Sphynx! So much I love them!!!
